More about Sandra

Thank you for wanting to read more.

In brief, I have been in Australia for about 30 years now, since 2010 in Daylesford. Why Daylesford?

Because it is amazingly gorgeous and really cold. And it feels like home (lucky that, because it IS my home). At my studio/gallery on Duke Street I sell prints, paintings, greetings cards, hats and whatever else has come out of the workroom.

More than anything I love to work, but there are a few other things which might slip into my day:

Walking the dog, a SharPei cross with the most velvety face you can imagine.

Building things, I once built quite a substantial house from scratch.

Dancing, learning tap at the moment with the spectacular Miss Evie. Also love  Argentine tango, here I am giving a workshop.

Taking something of little value and make it good. Such as a bathroom, for instance.

Making super fast biscuits and eating them.

Running my accommodation, Queensberry Pip, near the Botanic Gardens.

Gardening, actually not something I particularly want to do but cannot be avoided. Prefer to do any of the above!

Reading stacks and stacks. Making leadlight.

Other possibly interesting things about me: I once won an award for the best romantic BnB in Australia, and another one from Better Homes and Gardens for DIY.
